The critically acclaimed 2019 premiere production of Eleanor’s Very Merry Christmas Wish – The Musical in Chicago prompted the publishing of a second edition book with all-new illustrations by artist John Michael Downs. Both musical and book promise to become a tradition in the world of Holiday programming and bedtime stories as Eleanor comes home to new communities in 2022.
The COVID 19 pandemic created a detour in 2020 but the Eleanor team rebounded with a successful streaming version of the 2019 production. With the support of Broadway & Beyond Theatricals, Eleanor’s Very Merry Christmas Wish – The Musical was featured in over 20 theaters nationwide receiving glowing reviews from critics and fans alike.
Holiday 2021 found the musical on a pandemic-necessitated extended hiatus. Denise took the opportunity to focus on introducing the second edition of the book through broadcast, print and social media outreach along with personal appearances, readings and signings at bookstores and schools.
We now turn our focus to a return to live productions in 2022 with licensing, sponsorship and partnership opportunities. If you, your school or business or your foundation is interested in helping us bring Eleanor “home” to additional communities, we’d love to chat.
